Dog schools

Lexicon is a Velika Gorica training school for dogs (and their people) focused on basic obedience every dog should have, building confidence and trust through play and consistency. Programmes for children and adults, puppies and adult dogs range from obedience basics and puppy school to Trick Master, an online course and workshops, all including education on communication, health and feeding. A Lexicon owners' club operates in Zagreb.

Pametna šapa ("Smart paw") is the dog-training business of licensed trainer Lucija Marenić, with over eight years of experience from HKS seminars, licensing and competitions plus shelter volunteering. It offers obedience training, gradual socialisation, trick training, competition preparation, consulting and seminars in Sisak and Zagreb, with sessions also in Velika Gorica, Ivanić Grad, Popovača, Kutina and Petrinja.

Pasja hiša in Cerklje na Gorenjskem is a family-style dog hotel run by Primož and Katja, both Slovenian Kennel Club licensed instructors with over twenty years of experience. Boarding is complemented by a daily dog school where dogs learn skills and good manners during their stay. Dogs live indoors as family members; the hotel is officially registered.

Blazno blatno ("Madly muddy") is a dog school for active owners in the Goriška region, run by Alenka Gorjan on her own training ground in Solkan. The programme starts with socialisation basics for puppies and adolescents, continues with a follow-up course, and offers agility and hoopers for sporty pairs.

Burja is a dog school on the Slovenian coast in Koper, run by Teja Kariš and Roman Starman. Beginner and follow-up group courses run year-round in small groups for puppies and adult dogs. The owners are active in search-and-rescue and retrieving and also breed golden retrievers. Dog boarding is offered too.

Kuža Luža is a dog school in Novo mesto for dogs of all breeds and ages, run by Maša, a Slovenian Kennel Club licensed instructor who has competed in dog sports with her Belgian Shepherds since 2015. She offers group courses, exam preparation, individual lessons and working socialisation walks, with enrolment open year-round anywhere in the Dolenjska region.
