Kinološko društvo Trebnje has operated since 1996 with the motto "Everything for the wellbeing of your pet". It offers dog training and socialisation in an annual course, owner education, and individual advice and training when owners face a problem they cannot solve. The society grew out of the Meli center Repče company with its dog hotel.

KD Varaždin was founded by cynologists and dog lovers to advance cynology. On its own ground it organises spring and autumn training courses for dogs of all breeds, lectures and handling clinics, and its members compete in IGP. The club also hosts the CACIB Varaždin international dog shows.

K-9 Novo mesto dog lovers' club was founded in 2005 and has been a Slovenian Kennel Club member since then. It trains dogs and handlers through an "A to Ž" puppy course followed by obedience courses, with enrolment in spring and autumn. Programmes run in Ljubljana and Križevci pri Ljutomeru.
