Dog schools

Tiamat is a dog training school in Koprivnica run by Tomislav Sirovec. Believing there are no bad dogs, only dogs not yet taught to be good, it uses balanced, reward-based training. The programme covers puppy school (from about three months), basic to advanced obedience, behaviour modification and workshops on nutrition and care.

Tomik is a Novo mesto business combining dog training and dog care. Founder Teja Martinović pairs her love of dogs with a sports education, training courses and a competitive career. Besides dog training it offers day care and boarding seven days a week, plus activity programmes for children.

Vagabond is a Zagreb consultancy for the relationship, understanding and communication with animals, built on positive methods. Individual training and consultations take place at home, in the neighbourhood, at the Vagabond space or via Skype, covering everything from raising young animals to fears and reactivity. Special programmes address fears, reactive dogs and puppy life skills; Vagabond also runs the Yellow Dog project.
