Dog schools

Aktivne tačke ("Active paws") is a dog school and hotel in Koper (Pobegi) run by Gregor Đipalo. It offers dog training, education and socialisation in group courses and individual sessions, alongside a dog hotel, daycare and grooming salon in the same centre, approved by the Slovenian veterinary authority.

Mi2 is a "school for both" – dog and guardian – led by Sara Čotar. It teaches owners the skills for living with a dog and helps dogs handle everyday challenges. Puppy school is for puppies aged two to five months, while training and behaviour programmes cover dogs over six months. An online course, an academy and a web shop are also available.

Pasja univerza ("Dog university") is the practice of veterinarian Karmen Grubelić, a canine behaviour consultant, veterinary homeopath, Bach flower practitioner and nutrition adviser. Instead of group classes it offers holistic individual behaviour consulting for owners struggling with training or behaviour, combining dog psychology with a natural, respectful approach, plus nutrition advice, online seminars and a free introductory consultation.

Sorčan dog school in Senovica near Šmarje pri Jelšah relies on an individual approach and positive reinforcement. Believing good upbringing starts on day one, it offers puppy courses, advanced courses and training for adult dogs needing a little guidance, each tailored to dog and owner. Appointments are available daily from 9 am to 9 pm.
